Emma decided in elementary school that she wanted to become a lawyer in her hometown. She was called to the Alberta Bar in 2018 and established her own practice shortly after. Emma has always balanced work and play, being a high academic achiever, pianist, and competitive figure skater. Emma serves as a volunteer on the Executive Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lacombe and District, and was awarded “Big Sister of the Year” in 2014.

With a background in social and organizational psychology, Emma is able to work with you to determine and understand your own goals along with the goals and intentions of the other parties involved.

Emma is bilingual and proudly offers services to English and French-speaking clients.

Lorena joins Emma & Co. Law Firm following her articles at Legal Aid Alberta (LAA) in Edmonton where she served criminal and family clients. In 2022, Lorena graduated from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law where she was the Family Law Coordinator for Student Legal Services, providing legal resources and information to vulnerable Albertans. Lorena practices in the areas of divorce and family law, real estate, wills and estates, civil matters, and contracts. With a background in both litigation and alternative dispute resolution, Lorena is able to represent clients at all stages of the Court process. Lorena practices in both Red Deer and Edmonton, so she is able to serve clients in Wetaskiwin, Leduc, St. Albert, Stony Plain, and surrounding areas.

Lorena is bilingual and proudly offers services in English and Spanish.
